Welcome To My Blog

    1. Thank you Steve, I’ve never taken up surfing but if it was warm and I lived near water I’d love to give it a go, I’m a pretty strong swimmer, I guess it takes a lot of commitment and passion too.
      All the best

  12. Charlotte, Thank you for following my writing, and having such a beautiful voice. I downloaded “Amora Commanda” and added it to my playlist for when I write. I wish you all the best in the pursuit of your dreams.

  13. Italiano: Salute!
Thank you for adding me on Google+ a few (?) months ago!
Here in California, U.S.A. (ergo, P.S.T.), I stumbled onto your blog during this night of insomnia.
    Brava et felicitazioni!
    Grazie!

    1. Hi Hiram, grazie, io sono così felice che mi hai trovato qui. I do hope that Google translate got that right 🙂 I love to connect with people on my blog and share my experiences with them. don’t be a stranger and come and visit again soon.

      Best wishes

      1. Italiano: Io parlo solo poco italiano.
English: I only speak little Italian.
I use Google Translate also! And a nice polyglot multi-language lessons website: http://www.linguanaut.com/

But I merely pick up a few words here and there, for my own fun, since Italiano resembles Spanish as a Romance language and both are traceable to the Latin language of the Classical Romans of antiquity. Spanish proper was my first language.

And, of course, ars musica (Latin: loosely trans., musical arts):
        Exempli gratia:
Tempo: Largo, Larghetto, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, Allegro, Presto, Prestissimo.
        Accelerando, Ritardando, Poco a Poco
Remember: “Allegro ma non troppo” = cheerful, with more speed / but / not / too much!

        Italiano: Tanti auguri!
        English: Best wishes!

  27. Hi Charlotte – I enjoyed listening to some of your videos – what a voice! – and notice one refers to Lytham. I live in Lytham St Annes and wondered if indeed this performance was in Lytham? Do you have a connection with the area and are you likely to be singling here again any time soon? Thank you

    1. Yes Bill, I have a great Aunt in Lytham and a great Uncle, my grandparents used to have a caravan there too. I was hoping to do a concert there this year but the dates clashed sadly.
      Best wishes
