I would like to thank everyone who has so kindly left me their best wishes for my birthday.  I am off out in a little while to celebrate with my friends from College and will reply to everyone tomorrow 🙂

Update : 12th November 2013

I would like to thank everyone for your lovely comments and birthday wishes.  I had a great night and feel energized and ready for the year to come 🙂

Jess bought me this surprise sorbet after our meal , it was a lovely thought.

When I first started blogging I fell upon this great little site “painterswife” and told my Mum to take a look at the art dolls that Colette makes.  Little did I know that my Mum had contacted Colette and asked her to make a doll for my birthday 🙂

I would also like to thank Hilary for sending me a copy of her novel “Unseen Unsung” which I am going to start reading on the train when I return to Glasgow on Sunday 🙂  as it is based in the world of Opera.

Merci Pascal for your lovely pictures they always cheer me up 🙂

    1. Hi Deanie, congrats on your ‘Family Award’. I’ve come back down to earth now today I finally got the leak on my bathroom ceiling being fixed from August and I’ve been cleaning.

      All the best

  1. Did I miss the announcement or did Uncle Spike fall asleep somewhere along the way? (again, lol)

Whilst I don’t have birthdays any more (gave up years ago) I sincerely hope you have a fab day; after all, us Scorpios work so hard so time to have some fun!

    1. Thanks Lizzi it was great. I’ve got the post birthday mood comedown now 😉 keeping busy cleaning and getting straight as University is off this week as its reading week.

    1. Thanks Brandi, I might have to pop out and get myself a cookie or cupcake as a reward for all this housework 😉 I can’t make Pennsylvania but Glasgow has some great cake shops.

      All the best

      1. Yes, I had a good day. Did you?
I’m very busy right now too, just sold a piece of art and had to send it to the USA today. I had to part with a beautiful piece which hung in my living room for just a few weeks. I hope someone else will be happy with it too, as was I.

    1. Thank you Evelen; I’ve enjoyed reading all of my lovely messages. I was hoping to record a couple of songs today but the studio was fully booked ;/ I wanted to share some of my new repertoire on the blog.

      Best wishes
