Glasgow Cathedral was a fabulous setting for our free afternoon concert on Saturday 23rd November 2013. The medieval setting which I am told is full of secret passages gave a terrific resonance and a beautiful sound for our recital.
We performed several songs including “Soldier Soldier”, Poulenc’s “Ave Maria” and two love songs arranged by Michael Neaum.
I would love the opportunity to sing solo in this entrancing building in the future.
The choir will be performing at St Andrew’s Kirk in Helensburgh, G84 8UP at 19:30 pm on the 21st April 2013.
