Gothic Opera – Three Down And Two Shows To Go!

If you want to catch Gothic Opera’s double bill at the Round Chapel in Hackney, London. There is still time to trick-and-treat yourself. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. 

To spark your imagination, I will share with you some production photographs which have been released as a teaser for the opera performances. 

My parents travelled to London to watch the show yesterday. I loved having them in the audience alongside my brother Matt and his husband Alex and my two friends Katia and Oli. Thank you for being supportive of my operatic journey.

      1. You of all people must understand how different it is. Longer words than in English, different rhythm than Italian or German. Sounds (Eu, On, In, An…) so different. 😉

      2. Yes absolutely, my German is much more fluent than the other languages but I really enjoy singing in the romantic languages, French, Italian and I also managed to learn a bit of Russian and Czech. I hope you are well Brian.

        Russian and Czech? Praga was one of my few”traumatic” travel experiences. The language was totally hermetic to me. Normally wherever I go, I manage to grab a word here or there. But Czech? Dobri den? (Good morning?) A language that calls beer “pivo” is out of this world. 😉
