  1. Thank you for following my blog. Your blog is outstanding and your voice is beautiful. Great writing on the Winter Solstice. I write children’s fairy tales, and believe in all things unseen. While observing your blog, a new story is developing. It is about a beautiful young singer with a mysterious past, who is actually a princess from a time long ago.
Have a Happy New Year. May all your dreams come true.

  2. Hello Charlotte,
I started listening to your music when you added me on Google+ last summer.
I never used to like opera at all and I wanted you to know that I now enjoy it because of your singing!
You have such a beautiful voice and your singing inspires me to excel at my instrument (piano).
    Thank you!

  3. Greetings, Charlotte, and thank you for following my blog. I’m honored. It’s such a joy–and an inspiration– to hear of your determination to be a great singer. I wish you the very best.

      1. Thanks. That’s gorgeous. I’m listening as I type, and I’m wishing I could do that. You make it look effortless–which I happen to know it isn’t. In case wishes can speed your career on, I’m adding mine to the tailwind.

  4. Thanks for the follow! I was just thinking about you the other day. When I dropped off the Internet and deleted my old blog I lost all my followers, contacts, etc. One by one I’ve been getting some of them back but I had no idea how to find you. I couldn’t recall how to spell your name!

Anyway, I hope your singing career has progressed! I will be sure to longer on your blog a bit and see if I can “catch up” with you.

It is so good to see you!

  5. After writing for and deleting several blogs, now opting for a comment-less and ‘like’-less public journal rather than a blog, I’ve only rarely been able to discover why people decide to follow what I write or ‘like’ it. Sometimes even asking after it has received incredibly aggressive responses. I wondered about why you would follow after it but this about page sums it up nicely at the end. If you find anything I write to be of particular interest feel free to send me an e-mail, listed on my own about page, as it allows for a freer hand in discussion than WordPress’s comment system.

  6. You have a fantastic voice, Charlotte, and I can’t see how you could fail at reaching the very top of your profession. Your blog looks amazing, too, and incredibly popular. I’ve just read your last post about the Dickens Museum in London. Wonderful. I’ll hop back and comment on it now. 🙂

  7. Lovely to cross virtual paths with you Charlotte. Thanks for following my blog, now I am following yours. I just might add; “read an opera blog entry daily” to my DIY curriculum at MAWL The Mott Academy of Writing Librettos.

It’s good to know what the experience of opera singers are. As I write, it’s not only for the composers whom I need to inspire to compose but also for the performers who will take my words and bring them to life. There is much to learn. I like your approach and intend to check back on this web log often.

May you go from strength to strength.

  9. Hello, Charlotte! You have just started following our blog (thank you), and we are now following your career. Fate—with help from the Web—puts us likeminded music lovers together, yes? … I’m a conservatory grad (piano performance at Oberlin Conservatory and Masters degree from Indiana U), an avid Metropolitan Opera subscriber, Live in HD viewer, Carnegie Hall “great singers” and “Keyboard artists” series subscriber, the list goes on… I’m so very excited to cyber-meet you!! Looking forward to more of your clips, recital and competition plans. Any NYC travel plans? Brava, Jean

    1. Lovely to meet you Jean, one of my friends went to Indiana U it’s always nice to knock on cyber doors and meet people you wouldn’t normally bump into. I love serendipity. I would like to sing in NYC I knocked on a few doors so you never know 😊 but no plans so far.

  13. Hi Charlotte,
You stopped by my blog and I wanted to pay a return visit to say thanks.
As a performance artist, these covid days must be hard.
I’m a writer and try to create short essays that people would just enjoy reading, but I don’t think I have the degree of talent for my art as you do for yours.
I played and greatly enjoyed your Ava Maria track It was wonderful – Bravo!
If you’re ever in that mood where you need to just rest and laugh through a simple short essay for entertainment, I hope you’ll remember me and stop by again to check out my collection. Almost all my stories are short, 10 minutes or less to read. I’ll leave you a link to a favorite so it’s handy if you’re in the mood for a quick laugh.
