      1. It’s great when family force you to see what you don’t always see in yourself.
I was thinking as I read your posts that you’re studying near my kids and not far from where we live. Small world. Good luck again. Dreams do come true.x

      2. I love it that you blog with people around the corner and all over the world, it has really opened my eyes, it was my Mums idea and she has some great ideas so I’m glad I listened.

    1. Thank you Tracy for visiting and commenting, I think I’d starve on a vegan diet, greens and Me aren’t best friends but I like the look of some of your recipes and will try them when my vegetarian friend comes to visit this autumn.
      All the best

    1. Hi Carmen,
I’m happy you found my blog, it gave me the opportunity to call in to yours, where you said a woman can never have enough: shoes, necklaces, earrings, purses and rings I’d swap earrings and rings for dresses lol 🙂
      Be lucky, best wishes

  4. Thank you so much for following my blog. I have followed you back, because obviously your blog is very interesting. <3

I have posts related to music, the category is called song of the week. I hope you enjoy reading about them, and feel free to comment and tell me more about the music genres you like to listen to.

    1. Thanks for the follow, is Nour your name?
I love lots of different music genre my iPod shuffle makes people laugh because you can be listening to Tchaikovsky one minute and Brittany Spears the next, followed by Queen, Billy Holiday back to classical with Renee Fleming singing Puccini or Mozart.
      All the best
      Charlotte

      1. Yes, it is. Nour is an Arabic term which means “light”.

Haha, that’s pretty cool. Variety in music genres is always the way to pull of an inspiring music playlist, methinks.

      2. What a lovely name Nour – a great meaning too. I looked up the meaning of my name tonight and a quick google search reveals: free man/strong or a desert made of stewed fruit 🙂 lol.

        Best wishes

  7. Hi Charlotte. Thanks for finding and following my blog. I came to your blog and am now playing your demo tracks as I leave a reply; you have a beautiful voice! I live in The Hague and am fortunate to live very close to the Koninklijk Conservatorium, a classical music conservatory in the Netherlands. Many talented students give free concerts in the area and I am so impressed at the talent. Clearly, you are also a young emerging talent. I wish you success on your musical career!

    1. Hi, love your crochet, I read a great blog a couple of weeks ago with pictures of crocheted umbrellas, she used old umbrellas and made new covers for them to use as summer shade, I’ll find the blog link tomorrow and post it for you I think you’d like it.

    1. Hi Riccardo, I have seen so much more of the world in these beautiful photography blogs out there. You take photos of things other people would just ignore like algae and plastic construction netting which make just as interesting photos as your beautiful caves and waterfall.
Thanks for visiting and leaving your best wishes,
      Charlotte

  11. it’s so nice that you found my blog on photography – I wonder at that. Gosh, you are an artist and create with your voice. I’m just a guy that points a camera, but I hope your’ll find my words and pictures entertaining and maybe a bit educational. Now I think it would be great to hear you sing, I’ll just have to be content to read about what you refer to as your “journey”.

    1. Hello John,
I have lots of photographs taken to promote events and I love looking at photography blogs for ideas because most of the photos are family snaps although my Dad wants new photography kit now his photos are on my blog lol! :0. I’ll tell him about your flash use tip on outdoor sunny shots.

      1. Hello again, Charlotte!
Sorry for the late response. Thank you for appreciating my post about happiness. =) Nope, my Gravatar photo is not my work. I wish it was but it’s by Audrey Kawasaki, a great Japanese artist. Her works are really beautiful. Anyway, have a great blogging time and all the best on your singing career! 🙂 – Starr

  13. Hi Charlotte, I really appreciate you checking out my blog and following me. I’m brand new to this, I can see you’re quite a veteran. You have a great voice, keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll go far.

      1. I didn’t take music at University, I wouldn’t class myself as musically talented! It’s merely a passionate hobby for me, who knows? I might use my blog and take steps forward to share my music more. If more people are kind enough to give me positive feedback, I might start recording.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to brighten mine.

  14. Thanks for liking and following us, Charlotte. You have an awesome voice and we wish you absolutely the best and much joy with your singing. Diane, Ray, Frances from Green 🙂

  15. Hi Charlotte,
I’ve just been listening to the songs on your blog. You have a magnificent voice! I look forward to following your blog and your career.
    John

  16. Hi Charlotte. Thanks for visiting and following my blog. You have a lovely voice. I was first introduced to classical music by my father. We used to listen to it every Sunday during dinner. Now, living on my own, I sometimes listen to it turned up loud in my headphones at work, or turned up even louder in the car, where I try (poorly) to sing along. Best of luck to you getting into Opera School.

  17. Hi Charlotte – thanks for following my poetry blog. I’ll be following your journey with interest – I’m very involved in music at my local church, along with my family. My husband sings in a folk choir, and my daughter and son-in-law are singers in our worship band. Your voice is beautiful! You deserve to succeed in your ambition.

    Marion

    1. Hello Marion, I’m going to be reading more poetry in the next couple of months, I asked my parents if they like anything special for their 30th wedding anniversary and they asked me to compose, sing and record a song for them – no pressure then!
Thanks for visiting and leaving your lovely comments.

    1. St Mary’s Metropolitan cathedral is beautiful, really big with lots of history, one of the Popes visited when he was in the UK.
Thanks for visiting and leaving your good luck wish for me.
      All the best Charlotte

    1. Thanks, I’ve really enjoyed my day, I’m resting my voice now, ten songs with a piano interval in the middle to allow me to have a drink of water was brilliant, I’m not usually given that amount of time but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks for visiting, I thought your hairdressing adventure was very brave but they did a great job, perhaps we should leave hairdressers to advise more instead of telling them what we think we want. Lol

  18. Wow Charlotte, I hope you achieve all your goals and dreams. I love to sing – unfortunately I’m tone deaf so I don’t think I’ll be appearing on stage anytime soon!!! Thanks for visiting my blog and I look forward to reading about you progress toward your goal.
    Dawn x ( jacksmumontherun)

    1. Hi Dawn, You could dance on stage :). Maybe not with your poorly knee though! I’d find any excuse to get up there. I remember at primary school they put on Peter Pan and I was given the role of tinkerbelle, the rule was that I couldn’t talk or sing! it horrified me 🙂 so I had the loudest fairy tinkles ever and pranced around to ensure I got noticed, have you ever seen Tinks pirouette, if I could have figured out how to fly across the stage on a harness I would have done lol.

    1. Thanks for visiting, I have the Once Upon a Time pages in my scrapbook I love looking at the beautiful papers. I especially love the glitter highlights and know what you mean about covering them up.

  19. Hi Charlotte, thanks for visiting my blog, and good luck with your music! I studied music for many years, I used to play the oboe. Its very hard work and I really admire people that are able to be so dedicated to such a demanding craft. Thanks again! 🙂

  20. Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you enjoyed. 🙂 You have a very beautiful voice. I must admit I’m a tad jealous since I’m an alto soprano and therefore can’t sing as high.
Keep singing and God bless! 🙂

      1. That it is. Well, usually. Some horses have frustrated me more than anything, but more often than not it’s a lot of fun. 🙂

  21. Charlotte,
Thank you for following my photo blog. I appreciate it. I don’t know how you made your way to my site, but I’m always grateful when folks let me know that they have found it (and better yet, that they are enjoying my images).

You have a lovely voice. All the best to you as you pursue your singing career.

  22. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Music was my life at one point (classically trained pianist), and so I am excited to follow your progress on your goals and hear your performances!

  23. Wow, you have an amazing voice! I always thought that soprano singers only exist in movies. Yes, I haven’t heard a real soprano live. Yes, I’m such a loser. I listened to one of your tracks, “Do Not Go My Love,” and now I’m ready to write something about a soprano singer. I’ll think of the full story, and if I have it written down, that is, before Monday, I’ll drop you a comment here and the link.

    Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂

  24. Greetings from Singapore! Thank you for stopping by my blog. You have an amazing voice Charlotte! I look forward to watching your videos and reading your blog about your progress towards your goal!

  28. Hi Charlotte! Thanks for checking out and following my blog! I’ve enjoyed having a look through yours and listening to your performances. You have a beautiful voice!

    1. I do feel blessed, thank you. I went for an audition in London and the practise rooms were full, it was hot inside the building so I walked outside and saw a church, I popped in to sit and stay calm and asked if I could sing my piece Hendel’s Come Unto Him. It was such a good experience and a couple of people walked in from the street to listen.
